Substitute Teaching Assistant: Part-time position available, from September 2018 through June 2019; located at the North Troy Head Start program (25 hrs/wk, 40 wks/yr). Responsibilities include assisting in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate learning experiences and establishing a safe, healthy learning environment for children ages 3-5. Experience working with children and families preferred. Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED with Child Development Associate credential or Child Care Certificate with 2 years of experience working with groups of young children or be enrolled in a program leading to an AA or BA degree is required. This is flexible position to support our year-round preschool and child care program in Rutland City. Substitutes work at program sites on an as needed basis.
