Agencies of Education and Human Services Pre-kindergarten

The Agencies of Education and Human Services issued a joint memo in August 2016, Public School and Head Start and Act 166: Preferred Practice Statement. The preferred practice statement highlights the benefit to children and families when Head Start and public schools partner to leverage federal, state and local resources. Vermont’s Act 166 provides universal access to publicly funded prekindergarten.
