Job Summary:
We are looking for a strong team player, who has management and supervisory experience, and who is determined to make a difference in the lives of children and families.
Primary responsibilities include oversight of family engagement activities, implementation of parenting curriculum, and lead the program’s case management systems. It includes content area monitoring, and supervision. This position also has a role of supporting with all areas of the program, including staff professional development.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate solid experience with supervision, exceptional communication and organizational skills. Flexibility, responsibility, and problem solving are essential in this position. Some travel throughout Rutland County will be required, and out of county for professional development opportunities. This position is part of the management team, regular, full-time, exempt. Salary is dependent on education and experience ($55K – $68K).
Minimum Qualifications:
- B.A/B.S Degree in Human Services, Sociology or related field required.
- Ability to work independently
- Minimum 3 years of direct supervisory experience
- Experience working with county, state and federal auditors
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to write professional communication for internal and external partners
- Demonstrated strong proficiency with computer applications including Windows 10, Microsoft Office, and remote support tools
- Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation with personal automobile liability insurance coverage at or above the levels mandated by the State of Vermont.
- *Successful completion of a criminal history background check after hire.
- Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 per the Office of Head Start’s COVID-19 vaccine requirement
