What Makes Our Programs Unique

Our programming for children ages 0-5 in rural communities is uniquely designed to meet the needs of families where resources can be limited but community strength is abundant. By offering comprehensive, wraparound services—including early education, health care access, family support, and connection to community resources—we ensure
that every child has the opportunity to thrive, no matter where they live. Our place-based approach honors the rural way of life while addressing challenges with innovative, responsive solutions tailored to each family’s needs.

The Spirit of Our Programs

Our Early Education Center open houses are a vital part of building strong community connections. These events go beyond simply opening our doors—they create welcoming spaces where families can engage in fun, educational activities for children, access valuable parent education, and enjoy healthy food together. By bringing families, educators, and community partners together, our open houses strengthen relationships, build trust, and support the whole family in a warm, inclusive environment.

“To the incredible women who cared for my daughter this year — As this chapter of preschool comes to an end, I find myself overwhelmed with gratitude. My daughter is not just any child — she’s a 4-year-old warrior living with Type 1 diabetes. And yet, because of you, this school year was filled with safety, love, growth, and joy. You didn’t just teach her ABCs or how to share her crayons — you kept her alive, kept her safe, and you did it with such grace, patience, and care. You were our heroes behind the scenes, managing blood sugar numbers while also encouraging her to play, learn, and shine. You became a part of our family, whether you realize it or not.”
